Thank you for choosing a Roland EXR-7 Interactive Arranger, a
novel keyboard with a superior Roland sound source, an intui-
tive user interface, a USB port, V-LINK compatibility, a Piano
Mode (chord recognition on the entire keyboard), 76 keys, a
D BEAM controller, and a host of other useful functions.
To get the most out of the EXR-7 and to ensure many years of
trouble-free service, we urge you to read through this Owner’s
Manual thoroughly.
To avoid confusion, let’s agree to use the word “button” for all
keys on the front panel, and use “key” only when referring to
the EXR-7’s keyboard.
Before using this instrument, carefully read the “Important
notes” (p. 10). They provide information concerning the proper
operation of the EXR-7. Be sure to keep this manual in a safe
place for future reference.
